We specialise in resealing Grants of Probate (wherever obtained in the World) in another foreign Country different from the deceased’s domicile or where the deceased died, so that assets in that foreign country can be sold or transferred to either the Executors of the deceased, or to the beneficiaries entitled to the same.

            We work with lawyers and other professionals in the foreign countries when we are unable to do so, and we never handle your / the clients monies because of conflicts of interest that can arise. We always make sure the monies are paid to you or to our instructing firm (usually lawyers, accountants, financial advisers or other persons regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority).

            We are familiar with the forced heirship laws of Continental European Countries and have helped many clients recover assets in Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the USA as a consequence (including the obtaining (when necessary) of the Federal Transfer Certificate from the US IRS).

            Just because we may not have mentioned the requirements for a particular Country on our website, does mean that we cannot help you. It may simply means that that we do not regularly handle probate resealing matters in that Country, and even then we can usually help you.
